The pressures are real and life as a teen is tough. No longer a child but not yet an adult – sharp realities lurk on the horizon and unrealistic fantasies come to the foreground thanks to an ever-increasing saturation in mass and social media. On top of all that, parents nag, school work gets more difficult and, as now is the time to decide who you are going to be for the rest of your life, decisions must be made and personalities carefully crafted.

Respectfully developed from research provided by Mission Australia and true stories generously shared by real Australian students, TROLL puts the spotlight on key concerns affecting young people in 2018 and examines the ways in which these situations and scenarios can be acknowledged, experienced, shared and dealt with, in the interests of provoking discussion in the classroom.
